Another lunch break drawing. I start these by sticking my hand into a bag full of pencils/pens and pulling out a random assortment.
Wenduhl’s back! Another strip about my retired barbarian.
BAZAAR LOVE TRIANGLE is a tetrahedral mini-comic from 2004 that I collaborated on with Jesse Reklaw, Alixopulos, and Andy Hartzell. Alixopulos, Andy and I each did a chapter of the story on triangular pages. Jesse designed, produced and wrangled the whole thing. Jesse also did the cover art, which is a 2-color sillkscreen. Jesse or Andy probably did the screen-printing at the studio they shared as Global Hobo, a now-defunct mini-comics publisher and distro. I remember spray-painting some of those hearts on the inside cover on the sidewalk outside the Hobo studio. I believe that the book’s package also included a magnet with a Shrinky Dinks design of one the characters.
I took these photos before sending my copy of BLT to the Dylan Williams Collection at OSU’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum.
A drawing for my sweetie, given along with some warm, new socks.
